After a slow start to the week, things began to pick up a little today. Fetched Darryl from home and we headed to Taman Maluri for a nice bowl of pork noodles at ‘馬魯里豬肉粉’. Try not to order the ‘All-in’ – complete pork noodles filled with various pork cutlets and parts if you are not a heavy eater. It is seriously HUGE!
Once we got that out of the way, we headed to Ampang Hilir again to look at some properties. 9 Madge and Seri Hening caught our eyes this time. G Residence by Tan & Tan nearby also looked a good bet with almost a fully-tenanted ground floors outlets.
We headed back to Bukit Tunku and had lunch with the rest at Jalan Ipoh before making our way to the nearby rental-preview at Impian Bukit Tunku. This is a very nice house with touches of retro and modern feel to it. The build-up is spacious and everything is in place if you get it – minus the paintings of course! With the specs, location and price.. it’s definitely a steal! Thanks Arthur for arranging this.
Next, we headed to Bangsar for a more down-to-earth property preview at Sri Bangsar apartment. This piece is owned by a lovely couple, Mr and Mrs. Chew. Although a little dated with all the old fittings and tired furnishings, it is still a very lovely place for a family of 3 to 4 or working adults from other parts of the country. Just add a nice KIVIK sofa and a 40′ LCD tv and it’ll push it right back to 2013.
Finally, before making our way home, we stopped by this wickedly smart and stylish cafe cum working space, the Co. It sits right next to the Sri Bangsar apartment and one will not notice it immediately but once you do, you will realize how huge the outlet is. I will not say much here. If you would like to know more, feel free to drop by and remember to open the sliding door next to the cafe.
