Chap Goh Mei is round the corner!

2017-02-02-1Hey guys! Hoped everyone had a great CNY recently! Those who just got back from their hometown, good job! Also, would like to wish everyone ‘开工大吉’ – basically it means getting back to work with good fortune all year round! Some would just simply drop by their offices and switched on their workstations to show that they are back to work.

I found a pretty cool website with the 2017 calendar pointing out auspicious times for certain activities to be carried out during that particular month. Just point the mouse over to the dates and click it. The right side of the calendar will show the information. http://www.yourchineseastrology.com/calendar/2017/2.htm

Back to the title, Chap Goh Mei, which is Hokkien for “15th night”, symbolises the last day of the Chinese New Year celebrations. Also known as the Yuanxiao Festival (元宵节), it is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar calendar.

Wishing everyone, a happy Chap Goh Mei and may all be blessed with good fortune and excellent health the whole year! Cheers!  Visit my webby @ http://fresco.strikingly.com/ for more exciting estates goodies!
