Hey guys. Ever wondered why the related videos at the end of your embedded Youtube video in your website kept appearing even though you’ve disabled the ‘suggested videos’ option and/or added this line ‘rel=0‘ to the code?
I’ve been dealing with this for quite some time and couldn’t locate the mistake. All the other videos or sites kept telling us to add the above code and the related videos would automatically disappear. Well, it will not. Not unless you add the following to it:
Add the above line of code like how they instruct you to add the ‘rel=0‘, and the number 20 at the end of the code should start before the word ‘frameborder’.
iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/_M5ylGAPf2s” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen>
After adding the ‘rel=0‘ line
iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/_M5ylGAPf2s?rel=0” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen>
After adding the ‘rel=0&showinfo=0%22%20’
Finally, I have videos embedded on my website without the annoying, non-related random videos displayed at the end of my videos. Not sure why this is the case, but hey. if it worked, it’s worth to share.
Try it out. Let me know if this works for you too! If you have any other tips or tricks to share, feel free to comment. Cheers! Have a great week ahead.
